Envision is seeking an experienced Engineering Technology Professional who can provide support for CERDEC PRD in loading of engineering technical data and associated attributes in a modern Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. PRD provides technical data and configuration management capabilities with the goal of maximizing the availability and use of C4ISR technical data in support of the overall mission. Work will include heavy data entry and data analysis, so excellent typing, along with technical skills are required. The position requires the ability to interpret Engineering drawings IAW ASME (Y14.xx) and DoD standards.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree or better in Engineering Technology, Math, Physics or other related technical degree desired
• Experience in Engineering Document Control or similar role in engineering operations
• Experience working with 2D and 3D drawings/models and viewing software
• Ability to work with disparate data formats from a variety of sources
• Perform a variety of configuration and data management activities supporting multiple programs
• Ability to understand Engineering Drawings, Parts Lists, Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Knowledge of Engineering Change and Release processes
• Familiarity with indented BOM structures and structured part numbering systems, from assemblies to complete product definition
• Strong attention to detail, able to review the input of others and perform effective self-review
• Hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management software such as Windchill (Preferred)
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.) experience, advanced Excel skills essential
• Create and/or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Prepare/edit portable document format (PDF) files using Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to keep track of, clarify, reiterate, escalate if needed, and ensure closure of complex issues
