Roles and Responsibilities:

• Works with technical staff to develop documentation requirements, develop outlines and drafts for review and approval by technical specialists and project management and ensures that final documents meet applicable contract requirements.

• Creates high-quality documentation with minimal guidance that is coherent, easy to follow and complies with corresponding standards and style guides.

• Edits and reviews technical documents for format, style, and language.

• Works with tasking that may involve researching, collecting, analyzing, organizing, and preparing technical information and data.

• Develops diagrams, charts and graphics, editing and reviewing rough drafts, scheduling, attending and participating in project meetings, as well as testing and validation/verification.

• Assists with organizing, analyzing, and preparing reports or presentations of technical data and information.

• Tracks documentation for developing, planning, and scheduling purposes.

• Communicates roadblocks or issues immediately to leadership.

• Works effectively in a team environment.

• Has the ability to work independently, delivering accurate documentation under deadline pressure.

• Creates and updates user documentation for variety of material, including how-to guides, user workflows, instruction manuals, test reports, and (SOPs).

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements/Certifications:

• US Citizenship and a current Secret Clearance or having held one during the last two years. (History of higher clearance a plus)

• Bachelor’s Degree.and at least five (5) years of experience

• 5+ years of experience in applying a high degree of writing skill, editorial judgment and

• initiative, to independently plan and complete writing assignments
