Position Title: VR Simulation Engineer
Work Location: Orlando, FL
- and Responsibilities: Integration of COTS flight simulation software (Prepar3D by Lockheed Martin) with VR hardware (HTC Vive Pro, HTC Trackers, Leap Motion controllers, Thrustmaster flight simulation hardware). Will be working closely with certified Unity or Unreal VR developer to apply a layer of mixed reality on top of COTS VR flight simulations software. This will include rendering the HTC Vive Pro’s ability to switch between full VR and modified front-facing video camera pass-through.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements/Certifications:
- years experience of VR simulation engineering.
Preferred Qualification/Requirements:
5+ years experience of VR systems engineering with Prepar3D by Lockheed Martin.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor of science in computer science or related field.
Travel Required:
Travel to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina is required 2-3 times within the 6-month contract.
