Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide Information Technology subject matter expertise and services, which duties typically include:
- Being the central point of contact for all coordination/integration/planning efforts between PEO and NEC to include (but not limited to) end user account maintenance in the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) and ticket submission and management in the Army Enterprise Service Desk (AESD) REMEDY ticketing system
- Resolving NIPR (unclassified) and SIPR (classified) enterprise, hardware, and software technical issues to include (but not limited to) system and end user account maintenance
- Serving as Information Management Specialist in effectively assisting in the organization’s management of Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) processes and resources which enable the organization’s business and mission effectiveness
- Being proficient in using, deploying, administering, and configuring at the Army Enterprise Level, the entire MS Office 2013 Suite to include Outlook, Windows 7 or above Operating System, Project Pro, Visio, Access, PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat Reader/Creative Cloud/Pro, Lotus Sametime Chat and MS Communicator applications, CISCO VPN client, McAfee security suite, and JAVA
- Being proficient in using, deploying, administering, and configuring at the Army Enterprise Level network and non-network multi-function printers, computer docking stations, monitors, televisions, routers, switches; anything connected to end user's computers and/or the Aberdeen Proving Ground enterprise
- Supporting analog and digital multi-line telephones
- Supporting CISCO virtual communication equipment
- Communications: Garrison telecommunications may include voice, video and computer communication lines, local area networks, telephone systems, facsimile systems, and secure/non-secure telephone systems
- Automation: Computer software, peripherals, web services database management, knowledge management copiers, and support secure and non-secure electronic associated services
- IT Planning: IT service level management, life cycle planning, new equipment fielding, teleconference services, wireless infrastructure, and mission systems support
- Information Assurance: Enforce Information Assurance/Computer Network Defense policies and procedures, in accordance with NEC direction, accreditations, Goal 1 waivers, Certificates of Networthiness (CONS), Army Portfolio Management System (APMS), and IA training for Garrison
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements/Certifications:
Must have MS Certification in MCSA or MCSE. Must have Security+ Certification. Performs analyses of system requirements and develops operational software subsystems. Experience in real-time operating systems, distributed systems, timing and sizing analysis, performance analysis, data base design and management, and resource utilization assessment is essential. COMPUTER SOFTWARE: The Government requires proficiency in using, deploying, administering, and configuring at the Army Enterprise Level the entire MS Office 2013 Suite to include Outlook, Windows 7 or above Operating System, Project Pro, Visio, Access, Powerpoint; Adobe Acrobat Reader/Creative Cloud/Pro, Lotus Sametime Chat and MS Communicator applications, CISCO VPN client, McAfee security suite, and JAVA. PERIPHERALS: The Government requires proficiency in using, deploying, administering, and configuring at the Army Enterprise Level network and non network multi function printers, computer docking stations, monitors, televisions, routers, switches; anything connected to end user's computers and/or the Aberdeen Proving Ground enterprise. TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT: The contractor shall be able to support analog and digital multi-line telephones. VIDEO EQUIPMENT: The contractor shall be able to support CISCO virtual communication equipment.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related technical field.
