Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Experience with Windows Server 2016 and windows 10 operating systems including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the operating system, as well as experience using Windows Server roles and tools including WSUS, Active Directory Users and Computers, Group Policy Management.

·       Knowledge of the following is a plus: VMware and Redhat Linux

·       Group Policy creation, administration, and troubleshooting

·       Experience with DHCP and DNS protocols, support, and configuration

·       Server Virtualization experience, including installation and configuration, snapshots and backup management

·       Server/Workstation baseline Operating System image creation and deployment experience. Windows Server/Desktop Operating System installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience

·       Nessus (ACAS), WSUS experience

·       McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and HBSS experience

·       RedHat Enterprise Linux / CentOS experience

·       Requires good technical, communications and collaboration skills

·       DISA STIG/STIG viewer/STIG Checklist experience

·       The System Administrator provide Operation & Maintenance support to Windows servers.

·       Support includes patch management, information assurance/security, Storage Area Network (SAN) management, Windows Active Directory support and data backup solutions

·       Provide Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for designs and implementation strategies of new hardware and software deployments.

Must have the following technical skills:

·       Group policy

·       Active Directory

·       Scripting

·       Red Hat / Linux

·       VM Ware

·       Windows 10 / Server 2016

·       Rebuilding systems

·       Troubleshooting hardware / software

·       Ensuring Security of infrastructure

·       Certifications MSCE and Security +

The following is desired:

·       Cloud computing

·       DOD 8570 compliant (Security + certification) and Windows Server Certificate (MCP)/or equivalent
