Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plans testing effort and share it with project stakeholders.

• Creates and executes end-to-end functional manual test cases.

• Communicates defects to developers and other stakeholders, using the defect reporting tool.

• Assists in troubleshooting issues and defects.

• Helps business stakeholders define understandable and testable user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Performs tests of functionality, security, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with legacy and/or external systems.

• Conducts and participates in test case reviews, requirement reviews, design reviews, and change control activities.

• Creates and contributes to the creation of test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data for use during the testing phases of the software development lifecycle, for new and existing software systems/products.

• Ensures that test plans and scenarios fully exercise every aspect of the product.

• Produces formal test plans; leads the testing effort for assigned projects.

• Documents and reports issues discovered during testing, and reports issues to IT Development.

• Works as part of Scrum Development Team, effectively participates in sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews and retrospectives.

• Collaborates with end users for UAT on an entire release/sprint.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements/Certifications:

• US Citizenship and a current Secret Clearance or having held one during the last two years. (History of higher clearance a plus)

• At least five (5) years of QA experience in software requirements.

• Minimum 5 years troubleshooting experience.

• Minimum 5 years technical writing and documentation.

• Minimum 5 years of Testing experience.

• Experiences in Quality Management Processes and SDLC.

• Hands-on QA testing experience in client server and/or web-based environment

• Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of application solution being tested:

• JAVASCRIPT, .NET Framework, SQL Queries, ColdFusion, ServiceNow Workflows
