Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Principal Software Engineer to join our team at Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This is Hybrid position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Work on problems of diverse scopes where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

Required Skills: 

• Twenty (20) or more years of related experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university or 4 years additional experience might be substituted for a degree.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Experience with the following software development skills:
• Git
• Java, C++, and/or Python
• Relational database, such as Postgres

Security Clearance Requirement:
•  Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

The projected compensation range for this position is $260,000.00-$270,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
